House Gaby has been completely renovated. It is set back from the road in a quiet location inside the village Kamilari. From big roof terrace(26m2) you can look at the sea, hills and mountains of the region. The Apartment consists of two bedrooms und a cosy kitchen. All rooms are lovingly individually furnished, so that you can immediatelly feel at home. The bedrooms also exude a cosy atmosphere. One bedroom is fitted with a large double bed and one with 2 single beds (2 x 1,20m). The kitchen is equipped a big kitchenette and a cosy eat - and also to relax with a Sofa and a confy armchair. The friendly bathroom has a Walk-in-Shower and a modern sanitary furnishings. The house has both sunny and shaded areas invite you to linger. Parking available. The kilometer long sandy beach with rocks und trees is one nicest places of Crete and offers ideal possibilities for sunbathing and swimming. The area around Kamilari offers many hiking paths over hills and through olive groves with plenty wonderful views.

Kamilari, is a typical Cretan village, that has kept it's original character, and is located away the big tourist areas. Picturesque, it is located on a hill with lovely panoramic of mount Ida, the fertile Messara plane und the libyan sea. The hospitality of the people, the children-friendly atmosphere and the calm village life ensures, that you feel quickly at home. Kamilari offers plenty of shops and restaurants, and also old traditional ‚Kafeneia’(cafes), where the men drink their coffee und discuse the events of the day. There is always someone there in the mood for a chat. In the area are the interesting Minoan excavations of both Phaistos(festos) and Agia Triada. A few kilometers away is the famous resort of Matala with the extensive caves where the hippies lived in the seventies. There are also many monastaries and a stunning gorge, that is comparable to the Samaria gorge in its beauty.
